Hello! I am Sheryl

I’m Sheryl, your professional colour expert based in sunny Singapore. I’m here to help you find the best colours which enhance your naturally unique features. You will gain confidence, feel better and have more time to enjoy doing the things you love!

Something About Colour offers a high standard of professional analysis catered for all genders, ethnicities and skin tones. I am the first and only colour expert here trained in both the 16-season (Toronto, Canada) and Korean (Seoul, Korea) colour analysis systems with a wide range of clients to provide an inclusive space for diverse locals in Singapore.

My Credentials and Promises

My colour expertise in the creative industry ranges from landscape design, makeup and styling. With years of professional and personal experience in colour, I understand the profound impact of colour in defining impressions, invoking emotions, and boosting self-confidence in every aspect of your daily and professional life.

In 2023, I spent a year in Toronto, Canada and attained professional Colour Analysis Mastery from the renowned International Image Institute (Toronto, Canada). I am also trained in the Korean tonal colour analysis system with the Korea Personal Image Branding Association (Seoul, Korea).

After attaining my certification, I started Something About Colour in Toronto, serving clients of various nationalities and skin tones. My expertise in both the 16-season and Korean colour analysis systems ensures that your experience with me is personalised and comprehensive.

The Experience That Started It All

I found myself in a colour analysis studio in the middle of battling anxiety and depression a few years back. I left the session a slightly different person.

As I started wearing colour, my world became lighter and more joyful, and I wanted to share this warmth with others too. However, colour analysis in Singapore then was not accessible and often confusing. I decided to take things into my own hands and left for Canada to be trained in the international system as it is better developed and grounded in colour theory compared to its less mature asian counterparts.

Today, my approach to colour analysis and personal style is shaped by my experience with biomechanics, body confidence, personal style development and sustainable shopping. I also emphasise to my clients that they can wear anything that they want; that colour and style analysis is not meant to restrict their choices, but work with their genetics and personality.

If you want your everyday wardrobe to reflect who you are, shop easier and have fun with your outfits, you are in the right place.
